TekGrip Spectrum was developed to colour the range of decorative and high friction surfacing resins manufactured by Star Uretech. No recommendation is made for other staining applications.

The TekGrip Spectrum safety data sheet should be consulted prior to the commencement of work. Mix the ‘A’ component of the system to be coloured, for one minute to disperse any lumps or settlement. Add the required level of TekGrip Spectrum and continue to stir until fully mixed. Full mixing should take no more than an additional 60 seconds with the correct equipment. The amount of TekGrip Spectrum used will be dependant on the depth of colour required. 200g (one cup) for each 20kg kit of surface adhesive is sufficient for most applications however the Stainer should be added by a repeatable means (Volumetric or weight) to prevent colour variation that may be apparent in the completed application.

TekGrip Spectrum is supplied as a 5kg unit: 5Ltr Jerry containing 5.000kg coloured liquid.

A 5.000kg TekGrip Spectrum unit is usually sufficient for colouring 24 x 20kg kits of decorative resin with a typical addition rate of 200g however more vivid colours may require up to 300g of TekGrip Spectrum per kit.
